Her sister is like that woman from the TikToks. The "when you think she's bully, but she is actually a girls girl." I love that she, actually pretty directly, gave Maxi the courage to over come her fear to trust, and we are all benefiting from it

Just once, I would love for the ML in a webtoon like this to not get his way in the end. Let her live happily and drama free with her son, and let him live with his regret... but we all know at some point she'll forgive him.
I feel like the tragedy story we have all been waiting for, explaining the wrist guards, and why ML is so crazy stupid, is about to drop in a three chapter long story arch, that could have be one chapter.

Am I the only one confused about where the mother went? How funny would it be if in the next chapter the mom is like "Did you both forget i was here?! ML! You were reading her letters!"

@Babytingz YES! I haven't read the novel, but that scene when she rides off in the carriage and he just stares at her leaving... he had to know she would eventually find out and gave her no encouragement

I'm so angry at Riftan! And disappointed, and frustrated with him. And I also want him to barge in and fix everything and keep her father away from her. She's come so far and it's crazy unfair that she spent her whole life locked up by father, just to be in such an overprotective marriage. Riftan needs to get it together, poor Maxi.
At the start the vibe is so serious with him finally being vulnerable, like this episode was going to be about him not just expressing his pain to her, but really admitting it to himself THAT HIS PRIDE WAS HURT. Then she hits back with what true gut wrenching pain and vulnerability actually is. The artist did such a great job showing how young they truly are, especially her.
But I'm sad it's over lol
Sometimes I appricate a webtoon that doesn't over stay it's welcome.
