Look y take the wrong idea here. When a flashback is shown for a disturbed chara it doesn’t meant to justify them or ask you to sympathize with them. It explains what that action means to the character ts.For ordinary pple there is good and evil and all of us carry both sides Bt for a abnormal one it’s different thy live in an entirely diff world inside their head.
Humanity can be simple like saying you hate or love someone  bt it is also complicated  like u say" i understood""i see""so what will happen if thy realize that?""how thy act if thy go through that" that u are reading.
The same goes to the mc he feel chated and disappointed

Jo’s character came too thr limited they cant force him through Tj's placement sence Tjian stilled their a** its not effected not anymore Now thy force him by nature/ narrative cz he can’t be related by him self Unfortunately he’s not TJ and the more they forces him the more he became a flat sheet of a character

Looking at the story from this angle it feels more funny than sad

Imagine TJ running for his life and the whole city chasing after him. That would be perfection no game، just TJ raw in survival.
