@Jen my guess is that he dated a guy who was so embarrassed to be dating a man that the director either felt like the only way for them to be out in public was to look feminine OR the director was forced/guilt tripped to dress that way by their lover and now they just keep their hair long

@Ella_Me yesss I remember ppl saying "oh it's so annoying how insecure he is" but the way his character is written, it makes sense that he'd be so insecure in his first real serious relationship with someone he loves so much. But I'm really intrigued with your theory the doctor is male. I never considered that but it could make sense but I wonder how that would change minatos feelings or make them worse. I feel so bad for him. Jealousy plot lines are usually mid but this one makes me so sad bc you know how much he loves him and how hard he's trying.

@Aria senzi yeah I never understood why people just assumed he was forcing him or manipulating him.

@Clara I kind of wish we saw a bit of shin's POV bc I agree I don't really understand why he doesn't view himself as a guardian or parent to the princess after everything that happened before
