I have a feeling this fight/arc will go for like 40 chapters, then it will seem like Frieren and her team wins then somehow the other elf will get killed.

So in the end, the country and kingdom that didnt want him or acknowlegde him sort of guilt trip him into becoming the king to save the place he didn't like or want to live in. That's the happy ending?
