I have a feeling this fight/arc will go for like 40 chapters, then it will seem like Frieren and her team wins then somehow the other elf will get killed.

@sora agree with ya. It's like the fighting and the building event before this really made this arc more solid. Since it was not suppose to be full action series, so it will came with almost realistic approaches for the end game
@fezmannnn noo, don't let elves die this arc yeet its just barely new introduction of what's so called shadow warrior from this series into an arc...serie should continue lives as frieren until new generation of magic assosiations members and new apprentice for frieren after fern become the legend mage of that time like flame as season 2 of the manga. Give the last 3 elves plot armor!!
@fezmannnn this plot arc is supposed to tell us the most about the history of magic from Serie's influence to Flamme's greatest contributions to humans and the empire. It really goes back to the point of magic and questions its existence through the storytelling of political struggles and power fights in this world of magic. It would really be a big revelation for the story either way with the conclusion of this arc whether or not Serie would actually be assassinated, as her existence proves the very existence of magic since mythical times and how and why it came to be revered. That is why Lowe wants to assassinate this symbol of magic to end magic.
