I don't want to spoil the story (unless you want me to), but it has nothing to do with passing the examination or not. As is mentioned in this chapter, the rest stops are usually randomized and can't be chosen, and so the characters are never actually sent to rest stop 4 in the story (but they do visit the other ones).

we never actually got to see rest stop 4. It would have been fun to see them all in an amusement park setting for a bit, especially if it's after You Huo and Qin Jiu get together. We all know they wouldn't have had a normal amusement park date, but I can still picture some cute and funny moments between them in that kind of setting.
Lol, You Huo constantly getting distracted, but adamantly refusing to eat the tentacles just because the octopus's head is ugly is hilarious.

@Mewling Thanks for the spoiler, I won't bother with this anymore. It's a shame, the ML seemed quite nice at the start, and the MC assertive enough to not fall victim to a toxic ML. I wish the author had just gone the expected route and made it a cute story about a contract relationship gradually turning real, with lots of fluffy moments. Of course it's clichéd, but I never get sick of reading those kinds of stories.

Sooo, fun fact. This webcomic is based on a webnovel, and unlike most novels, it actually has some full-on NSFW scenes. I took a look at the novel and for some reason, the latter half of this adaption was suuuper rushed (especially towards the end) and also left a lot of things out as a result. The first 30 chapters of this manhua adapted roughly the first 49 chapters of the novel, but the novel has 154 chapters overall, so this really should have had like 90-100 chapters instead of just 68.
It's sad it ended up being so short since I love this series, but I guess I'll have to say goodbye for now (until I reread it)......

Ah, I remember this manga from a collab chapter in Sasaki to Miyano. It's really fun so far, hopefully someone will pick it up!
