@Baek Siyun i had the same question, both the parents are hearing so how is the child deaf ? Quick Google search , they could have recessive gene which is passed down to the child or complications in pregnancy can also lead to deafness . In earlier times when medicine was not as developed lil children would get flu/fever and can cause hearing loss. So there's that   🙌
