Why would they make Debora less smart here? In the novel, she was also surprised why Isidor wasn't mentioned but she was suspecting that they couldn't just afford someone better than Pilaf. And she did remember that Master has some connection with Isidor so she wasn't solely relying on him - even Master didn't know (maybe he knew but didn't tell her).
Hooray, my favourite moment of the novel is in the next chapter where we see the reactions of all members of her family)
This chinese player, emperor, could have been really great at helping the ML. It's such a pity that he is a villain here and not the future helper reformed by beating but well... Considering the relationship between China and Korea... No surprise here

It's a pity that this episode is much less cool here. Also, the characters are more stupid here for whatever reasons? In the novel FL actually understood right away that smth is wrong, like how tiger didn't really attack her or anyone but just crown prince. She was emphasising this to Emperor, and he also knew that it was fishy and probably done by the Ruan faction and he was angry but no proof.

The consort is literally like why all royal men are just so stupid? It was implied that consort was injured more because of the crown prince who not only hesitated but even decided to protect her. And she was like - why they can't be as smart as this little pudding, the genes of emperor are too severe for boys .

@Infinite_years the reason why the girl reacted that heavily because her uncle couldn't see a lot about the person who killed the brother of Chae ..., except the distinctive tattoo. So now the leader of the guild understood who killed that brother

of course , our little prince-hostage. The thing is that the emperors of both empires were dumb, so actually the other emperor chose a son to send to other country as a hostage via a lottery, the prince who they sent actually did have some backing. He is taught by super famous martial artist. Then, when the time comes (ML father will be dying), the ML will leave the country and return to his nation to claim the throne. Within the next 3-5-7 years (i don't remember exactly), he will be restoring the power of his empire. Then the FL's father dies, ML seemingly strikes a deal with other neigbouring country to attack the FL's country, but it was actually more of a threat - give me FL or I will attack you with other country.
