At minimum The captian of the Gordo mercs should have lost his life. It's cunning and low of the author to have nameless faceless characters die in vain while this co**-nobbed jackwagon gets to live because boo-hoo some JV Highschool girls started crying. This story wants to have its cake and eat it too.

The dao of yin and yang teaches that evil can do good, but that's LITERALLY this fuc**** guy. He saved those girls to use them for their strength and look at the treachery they've dealt to Touya's party. I understand sparing the girls because they had a debt of honor to Gordo but fu** this man. You execute highwaymen. Still this is a shounen fantasy so guaranteed they're going to get a pass and somehow become instrumental in undoing whatever plot Princess-Deserves-To-Die is plotting at this signing ceremony. Fuc**** he** I hate Little Finger types. Fu** them. Burn in a pit while being healed forever.

This is why I love Lumina so much and hope Touya takes her as one of his women. He needs someone that isn't nice/kind/naive and is willing to kill evil immediately (if you know you know). Thank you Ulysses. We got to enjoy a very comelling story thanks to your hard work and thank you for giving us more to chew on if we feel like seeking out the web novel. This is the type of story where the protag has too many allies in his corner too early. They basically solved his biggest problem for him and unfortunately that is an absolute no-no in story telling. As much as I enjoyed reading I understand why this story ended where it did and why the original author just ended their story eventually. I hope they use this lesson to write even more compelling stories beginning to end in the future. <3

This has Fairy Tale energy. Wonder if the mangaka was an assistant to FT's author. I've seen the same DNA from HereAca assistants making their own manga and making obvious knock-off style of Horikoshi's art style. No judgment. It's less on the nose but still shame these assistants don't spread their wings and are stereotypically hammered into their master's mold.
