I feel like I need to re-read this series. I knew vampires turn to demons, but now humans do too. I thought Mahiru was already a demon, now she's turning into one again. I wonder what kind of demon or cursed gear Ferid would turn out to be since he absorbed lots of vampires. Chimera tree demon.

I can't see a way for them to get out of this predicament. I was thinking they could unlock some new skill that can help them by levelling their skill tree, but they did not gain any level from their last fight, which seem odd. Maybe another party would come and help them out.

I wonder why they failed to find Alicia. Even if the ichor is gone, her corpse should still remain. If Zaftier is correct that Clevatess is not dead, it might mean that the ichor is just inactive. Someone may have found Alicia and stored her corpse somewhere. Might be Princess Millea.
