There are two ways to achieve the goal of saving one's family;

Just checked, the Tiger Beetle can NOT reach 80 kilometres per hour.  Instead, the fastest known species of tiger beetle, Rivacindela hudsoni, can run at a speed of 9 km/h (5.6 mph; 2.5 m/s), or about 125 body lengths per second. A feat that is undeniably incredible but nowhere near what was mentioned in this chapter .

We should not have let Sayki have that. Their choice was actively worse than the original option which was a call back to what the captain said because their necklace was also what had saved them.

Can we talk about how these last few chapters have literally just been "Yang Kai returns to his peak"? He got a Waifu, returned back to how he used to be when it comes to combat and now he is being as prideful as the blo*** heavens. They are literally bringing him back to his peak, should we be expecting a huge opportunity some time soon that sky rockets him from the first real to the third?

What I'm confused about is why they keep trying to teach her ice arts that require you to have no emotions when her original art, her foundational technique that built a majority of her foundation... is an ice art that becomes STRONGER the stronger her emotions are. 

Those are two directly opposing techniques that would obviously cause issues in her cultivation.
