ok so from what I remember, basically:
when they were little, chaejun would play around a construction site that seung-hyeon would pass after taekwondo. they would talk and play together, and one day they played hide and seek (I remember from one of those earlier flashbacks), and I'm guessing that was how chaejun got locked in the warehouse, because chaejun was the seeker and seung-hyeon told him to count while he hid. so far we don't know how chaejun got locked inside, but his uncle was the one who saved him (and got that giant scar on his arm), and i'm guessing chaejun got his forehead scar from that incident as well.

@Liiii @Liiii it wasn't confirmed that the man killed was the mc's dad, but either way, he was abusive, but that doesn't mean that the mc didn't still have some sort of emotional connection to his father. typically in abusive households the child still loves the parent no matter what they do, because they cling onto the small chance that their abuser will change for the better. our mc also shows this kind of behavior towards jiseong (is that how you spell it??), even after the guy nonconsentually did the deed with him and would act posessive and toxic towards him, the mc still cared about him/"loved" him.

for you and for the other people that didn't understand:
-The mc is the prince of the underworld
-He was exiled and reduced to a puppy, and he can only turn back once he has gained the affection of a human
-Lee nok (the crown prince of a human kingdom) is cursed by evil spirits
-Mc decides that, in order to get lee nok to like him, he'll scare away the other spirits and "haunt him"
-Lee nok has a crush on kyung joon (the other guy from the flashback), but kyung joon is homophobic
-Lee nok was calling out kyung joon's name in his sleep
-At the end the two people (idk who they are lol) are talking about how the Yama king (mc's dad) may have set mc and lee nok up
