@Vky after following this series for a few years now I can say without a doubt that like 30% of all the chapters released could've been condensed and still given the exact same amount of context. I think it's just a manhua thing in general tbh. Manhua artists/writers love to milk as many panels as possible, look at last chap for example, there were like 8 panels of people just standing and looking around/saying the same things repeatedly. The highs of this series have been extremely high but it's excessively drawn out in many arcs (probably to milk global chapter sales)

@Rhaynbowbrite SB1 the reason she's like that towards Kawaki and to some extent Boruto as well is because they're legitimately the only two humans on the entire planet that have the "choice" of loving her. It's an entirely valid reason for a teenage girl to be that invested into one of only two people on the entire planet that are capable of showing her genuine affection without being unintentioanlly brainwashed. I'm not the biggest fan of Boruto in comparison to Naruto but to say Eida is just like 12 year old Sakura is quite dense.

@Treeezy animation will for sure go crazy but we're talking a decade wait MINIMUM for these chapters to get animated lmao who knows if the anime will even be running by then. I mean we don't even know if anime studios will exist 5 years from now in general let alone 10 years with the way all the dirt on studio executives and work conditions have been brought to light this past year.

Remember he spent probably less than a decade with his biological family before his father sold them all off.

It was stated in the chapter with the woman "Her eyes are powerful enough to put people into trances while even being blindfolded" *Strike 1*

His mother is not the only person that can be used as a hostage, we've seen him make multiple friends and acquaintances AND his father just stated that he needed to leave home for awhile. It was simply an example, if you had actually paid attention while reading then you wouldn't need someone to point this out for you. *Strike 2*

Yes, it's unrealistic for him to just do whatever he wants because his actions have an effect on more people than just himself.

You say he should put his foot down, yet he represents a whole nation alongside the princess during the meeting with the heroes and other national reps. You want him to start internal conflict between the humans just because you think he should be more assertive and disagree with nobles and heroes of higher status than him when there is legitimately no gain in doing so other than saying "I can say no if I want"?  *Strike 3*

You want him to publicly deny the Queen of his nation as well when she can declare him and his family immediate criminals for doing so? Very logical thinking on your end.

@Gazni do you and everyone else who has this same complaint not understand the concept of hostages? So what if he's OP. His mother is fully capable of being captured, tortured, and/or killed especially due to her commoner status. He's already seen that the queen will even use Medis as leverage whether it be as a political pa** or just a tool of war. It has nothing to do with his "backbone." @Kuzumati I believe it is monthly when it's on a regular schedule. Manga that aren't funded heavily usually have inconsistencies for a bit throughout their lifespan due to authors needing breaks or just not having enough time to keep pace. Like I said though, I believe it's monthly on websites like this as long as the author is healthy and there's a translating team that has it as high priority.

@NokkoGamma probably just remembering events from the anime if you watched it. i remember the anime caught up to the manga in like 8 or 9 episodes lol the authors either need a better studio to work with or just need to give up on the manga because this 3-4 chapters a year is not going to cut it with fan retention. we'll get s second season of the anime before we even get all of season 1 in manga format at this rate

@Anon the whole point is to strategically make them all suffer in unimaginable ways if they are guilty of being garbage beings. that was said at the beginning of the manga. Light has also said that he doesn't know if there are any other beings as powerful as him and his allies so moving recklessly with zero info on the outside world for the past 2-3 years he spent in the Abyss is the most idiotic thing possible.

@JPANIME i think he mentions something about concealing his ability to create elixirs in an earlier chap because it's an even more absurd ability than pretending to simply be an "OP summoner". Keep in mind that everyone still believes these humanoids are legitimate summons that are just able to polymorph and not genuine beings that were actually created entirely by Akira. His power is basically creation magic with near zero limitation and if that was found out it'd be an international crisis/war to seize his power for a single nation, meaning all of his loved ones would be targeted and used as leverage. That's why him and Aria are trying to keep his true abilities hidden under the mask of "OP summoner"
