It was pretty bold of the author to add in this particular scene. I'm sure they knew how controversial it would be but it adds to the story. I am uncomfortable looking at it, but that is definitely the intent. I don't see it as beast******, more like a grotesque display of fear yet to come. I don't know where the story is going, but there has to be a reason this was depicted so graphically. So far, I am heavily invested.

Seme is really adamant about uke staying alive and has even seen him dead before. Seme also seems to have experienced the events multiple times since he knows what is going to happen.
