Maybe the author wants to add more to the story so we cannot blame them, they wrote this story because they want to broadcast their writing. Why should we get so worked up over the author adding more to their own story????

Okay i might sound crazy but...he was treated very kindly and was loved by the lize aka author. Because he was the main lead that the author was chasing after so ofc she would treat him nicely and not show her bad side. Plus he grew up with her and never showed her bad side. 

when Edith appeared, obv he would be suspicious since she came feom a rival family... And he loved Lize a lot so her blaming Edith would make sense to him since she's a rival AND Lize accused her without him knowing the truth. He's confused why the person he loved suddenly changed and the author never justified who she was like Edith did to Killian.

He's just lost because he'a confused of what is false and true leading him into depression and anger. 

Oh and this is my opinion! I enjoy doing an analysis on characters, this was based off the early chapters too! 👍

Stop the hate, they solved an entire war and had to instantly handle court. Asha cared about her feelings as mentioned in the early chapters, so we cannot expect her to understand her feelings for him instantly! She was also raised similarly to a man, so she is not swayed or flustered around men like the other characters that easily. In addition, the entire marriage was a contract so of course she expected a divorce, not the ML confessing.  Don't judge without thinking deeply about how her character is made and her past!

For those who do not trust him, remember, story titles relate to the characters more than noticed. Since the title itself 'love history caused by willfull negligence', meaning that the most of the story is caused by willfull negligence itself. Even though the ML still has some power to control it, doesnt mean he understands how to do so properly. I am not defending him, if he existed irl I would hate him tho.

The author includes a prime example of what disorders can do to a person and those sureounding them. He would control it if he understood how to do so on a deeper level, correlating to how ppl with disorders need to understand it deeply before learning how to control it.

I appreciate how he can still show ounces of love/like for the mc, but due to his disorder, he doesn't know how to say nor do it how others usually would. We should understand the past to love the present, even so, he was never actually diagnosed when it was obvious. Meaning that no professional or parent knew it was a disorder making them not teach him about it.

It is okay for you to not agree with my prespective, I enjoy understanding the core of stories and characters as a habit. I myself do this irl to understand people so please endure 🥲.❤️
