And that's really the way business minded people think. If you outperform your goals, even exponentially, you've earned a 'good job' and your salary. If you sc*** up once, whatever that costs, that's how 'in debt' you are to them. Earn extra millions, 'good job'. Lose a few hundred grand, 'Working for free for the rest of your life won't pay us back!'.
I don't exactly appreciate what the story implies about 'male fragility'. Then again, it's only an assumption on the FL's part. For all intents and purposes it could be a parody that only ends up poking fun at the 'need' she has to protect her husband's 'delicate heart'.
@XMLrm Yup. A story that exists just to make a victim and torture them doesn't appeal to me either. And the kind of people it does appeal to I don't want to know.

Sorry but she annoys me too. She'll act pitiful but won't say a thing. I hate these plots....
This trend towards exaggerated misery and suffering leading to a non-cathartic, drawn out pity party to wrap up the story is disheartening. I can't imagine even the most angsty teenagers enjoying that kind of story that much. But maybe I'm wrong. There's more of these nauseating stories everyday.
Once again servants acting above their station, willing to risk comfort and stability, maybe even freedom, for rediculously petty reasons. Because pre-industrial revolution wage slaves were totally willing to do that~.
The premise of this story is both horrible and funny. Like, that's one way to subvert the old 'betrayed by my team' trope. 'Honey, I Shrunk the Protagonist'.... stole his goodies and left him to die!
Can't even be mad about the nationalism stuff when everyone is completely up in arms and acting equally dirty... as they would. Also, some sterotypes get a pass since the author already offered one up for his own team. Really, threatening to eat the cat! lol
@Gazni Right... Because Amerca has a monopoly on corrupt officials... Belwo the line of the elite we, globally, are living the same shi*** lives with the same shi*** problems. Only to different minor degrees depending on the issue.

For once, murica has been portrayed in their actual image. That takes guts for a korean author, not ...
