I hate stories like this. A parent who had abandoned a child and then will show love when the kid tries everything to get love. At the end we are suppose to see him as a doting parent who cared but didn't show it.

I really like this concept of people hating them coz the body and souls were different. It makes it easier to forgive all the people who mistreated them. Other stories just gloss over this  like nothing happened and we see a happy family after transmigration.
