for the former, theres no reason for yang yan to lie, so obviously it cant be that hes talking about the guy being real

now for the latter, yang yan already explicitly said that the guy is dead, since the guy was the former star field master, and now that the star map is with yang kai, that means that the guy is dead (since theres only one such copy of star field map)...
