In the novel this scene was way funny:

MC kept beating him for days, without sleeping himself, the spirit kept begging, negotiating, etc, until it couldn't take it anymore, but MC kept beating it still, to the point even MC fell asleep while beating him (MC's hands kept auto-beating him, while MC was asleep). Once astonished and terrified by MC, the spirit came out. 

There are some translation errors:

The house name in novel after correction is 'Aravion' 

Asish also calls the Female 'Meisha' as 'Mason' in this chapter. 

PS: However the story is very close to canon, with not much details skipped. 

Author-nim is teasing the fans with this almost_there-but_missed setup. Even though this is what makes things interesting but still I have to say:

"You 'babo'( 바보) author-nim!!!~"

To those wondering what happened to the kingdom's treasury, here is an explanation based on the novel, though the manhwa has deviated somewhat from the novel:

- The real backdrop is the 'Drought' which made both the Duke's & Kingdom's forces unable to exercise full strength

- In last life, Kingdom finances suffered a heavy blow due to this drought, which was as per Duke's estimates. The Duke faired better, due to their general preparedness for war (not drought specifically)

- In present life, Duke's estimates remained the same, but thanks to Magic Crystal's based bumper farm output from Fenris, and the 'tip off' to the Marquis to tell his allies to prepare for a drought, by MC, the Kingdom's finances are in much better shape.

- This factor/change introduced by MC, is yet not known to Duke's side. Nor would Marquis or any sane person reveal his hand is better than other side's estimates

Now this Manhwa feels like it has upgraded from "Just another decent Manhwa" to "A Category leader, that stands shoulders apart" 

Its easy to write a story set in Dungeon as a backdrop, early chapters are easy. But what other stories lack is present here:

- The Dangers, Ups and Downs & Possibility of Death in Dungeon

- The full effect of psychological state in the whole picture

- Instead of mere Nakama power, using Proper Strategy+Nakama power & lot of grit .. to overcome challenges

She is that stupid woman with no actual power who let the sense of entitlement arising from being a GAR official get to her head. 

She doesn't fear our MC now, but she sure will, if she keeps sending more things his way.
