Are the majority of the fans kids? I genuinely don't understand how people think Eunhyuk believing Su-ae might leave him because of his hearing loss is somehow stupid. Someone can be the kindest, most understanding person in the world, and you'd still struggle to open up about your trauma. That's literally how trauma works—it isn't rational. Just because you know someone would probably accept you doesn't mean your brain suddenly lets you be vulnerable. Everyone also keeps complaining that Su-ae is "dragging Dohwa along" even though she knows how he feels, but there's nothing wrong with her genuinely seeing him as a friend and wanting to keep that friendship. If anything, I wish Su-ae would set firmer boundaries and tell Dohwa that there are times when he shouldn't cross a line, especially when it comes to her love life. As for Eunhyuk, yes, he absolutely lacks communication, and that's a valid criticism. But there's a huge difference between being bad at communicating and having to talk about a traumatic event that still affects your daily life years later. Opening up about something that changed your life forever isn't easy, no matter how much you love or trust someone. People are acting like his fear makes no sense when it's actually one of the more believable parts of the story. You can criticize the pacing, the 10-year time skip, or the way the plot has been handled—that's completely fair—but acting like his trauma is unrealistic completely misses the point. I still love this manhwa, but if I'm being honest, I enjoyed it a lot more before the time skip.
