The reason why this story is getting flamed is being their fetishizing this behavior. The white ml is portrayed as a “white savior” which isn’t good at all…While the native lead is being portrayed as a fetishized version of a native american. The reason why this is so bad because slavery is a touchy subject, many people don’t know how to portray it right and show the terrible affects it had and still has on african americans.
