@Galactic Navy Officer The "extra academy's survival guide" mc's relationship with the girls is pretty good so far. All the girls have a deep and complex relationship with the mc and the mc sacrificed and suffered A TON to get where he is at while saving them from horrible fates. Outside of that... hmmmm. There are a few others that have potential but the manga releases are so slow that it's going to be a while until it gets there. 

But out of a hundred or more manga i have read with the harem tag, i think only the one i'm talking about is good enough.

@Galactic Navy Officer And you were saying just before this chapter about the dwarf not being a blacksmith... well, he is instead... A GOLDSMITH!!!! Pretty creative, uh?

That aside, the dude is awesome and the bunny girl is cute, there.

Sis is awesome! She is a bit too clingy and tsundere at times but she is affectionate enough to not become untrusworthy. I'm sure she would be very important to her little brother survival if the kid was not possessed by the mc.

@Galactic Navy Officer That's interesting but not every isekai rules allow healing magic to heal illness though. Quite of few of them only allows Apothecary and Alchemy to heal illnesses while Healing Magic has different levels of restoration effects depending on the lore. I wouldn't be surprised if this manga had a similar lore. I'm having a hard time understanding which is which considering purification and clean exist.

@Galactic Navy Officer Yup, i think i remember something of that type but i don't remember anymore because i stopped readin that manga long ago after the anime aired. I need to reread it again when i can.

@Galactic Navy Officer I see... my condolences for that type of family drama. All families are dysfuntional more or less in my experience, you can't escape stuff like that. 

And yeah, the father is too much of a wet noodle. He doesn't seem to be capable of standing up for himself against his father-in-law. I mean, even if gramps is a higher noble, there are things regarding family that are too important to ignore... but maybe he is being overworked and has no time to handle family drama and just chooses the least path of resistance instead. But i could totally see him allowing to let go of his kids (adoption) from his late wife, just because gramps said so... it's very frustrating in that regard.

@Galactic Navy Officer Anxiety and loneliness. The thing about her promise to their mother about protecting him and failing to do so, together with the need for her to have the only real blood connection give her some peace of mind is a big problem for a girl her age. She spends most of her time studying all the time within a house that feels... unconfortable at times. I mean, Step mother is amazing but... it can't substitute the blood relation with her own brother after all. The fact that the mc is working a lot even though he is only 6 must be really alien to her. 

That and dad is probably too busy to give proper attention to her... she must have suffered a lot. Her behavior is quite well understandable.

@Galactic Navy Officer I guess they wanted to surprise him but that kinda backfired... he should have been prepared, meh. At least the mc is a grownup inside and managed the situation quite well.

Now what i'm even more surprised is the fact that the dwarf has no beard!!!

@Galactic Navy Officer I think it made sense though. Think about it. The kids would not accept her as a mother in most situations that quickly... it usually takes time. For a noble of that gramps standing, he would never waste his time on something like that if there were other blood related options. The second problem is regarding possible feuds for the right of succession of the family as heir. It's too much of a problem for an obtuse old man like him... that's why he told his daughter to abandon the kids of the other wife.  

This just shows how freaking amazing the step mom was. She was going against the wishes of her father, a noble of higher standing, and even against the children being wary of her as a mother. Even compared to situations nowadays on our own world, it's a really complicated manner to handle...

@Galactic Navy Officer Indeed! It was quite an emotional moment... i'm sure the mc is very thankful that he isn't being treated as a stranger. Or maybe even be discriminated. Awesome step mom..

@sonic 1x100 Yeah, i'm puzzled why the mc didn't make it yet once his older brother was showing off the magic to cool liquids. 

@Galactic Navy Officer I'm surprised that the mc's family fief is not having trouble with wars and monsters on top of economic issues. By this time, it's usually how stories like this unfold and the mc needs to use his skills to protect the territory.

@Galactic Navy Officer Now that you mentioned it... it was indeed a surprising character. 

Still, even though i like Lala as an interesting character that can become a true subordinate bond, i prefer Noel. She was really knowledgeable and creative while she made that water pump just from using the mc's instructions. Gotta love competent side characters!
