dojin is not 36 he’s more like 26. His older sister is in her 30s in the start of the story and his older brother who manages perfumes is in his 30s. They have like 6 years age gap

I know that jiheon is no angel but atleast he has background to support his obsession and delusions for how wooju feels about him BUT THE PROFESSOR he is just a psychopath who is literally drugging and graping  wooju in his sleep.

I think it's because the FL doesn't actually know what she looks like and so far we've just been seeing her "imagination" of the late duchess but this time it's the emperor's imagination who actually knows what the late duchess looked like

we have had this discussion even years ago when this chapter was new. My take is: yeah joohee 'liked' him when he was an e rank but both of them has the same reason. Joohee liked him for being brave, persistent and cool for saving her even with him being weak which made her comfortable with him, and cha likes him for being brave and cool for saving her and that she's comfortable with him due to him not smelling like other hunters. The only problem here is that Jinwoo reminds Joohee of trauma, instead of enjoying him as a person she would only be reminded of awful things when they are together and that's for her to unpack and Jinwoo respects that. It's a matter of moving on, I see joohee as an ex that didn't even start. I honestly genuinely like Cha Eunhee and I do think that they have a really good dynamic going on, plus she helps Jinwoo build his confidence on himself. Because at the moment he seems to think he is just an average man hahaha. Tbf tho even before his 'reawakening' I already really like him, he was already in my favourite list in the early chapters. Something about the brave, hard working persistent men who prioritise and protectswomen in his life that gets to me 😫

I know this is supposed to be tragic backstory but why didn't she just refuse the king's marriage proposal if she hated it that much? 

its not like she told the crown prince she loves him, she just said she's destined to be in the royal family and since he doesn't like her, there's only one other option (the emperor)

reread his conversation with his mum. She said that she did the same where she had to send her capri away halfway through her pregnancy with him, she pretended that she miscarriaged because people were targeting them and trying to kill the capri and the baby. She said there's a high risk of the baby dying or being born very weak and small but it's possible as he was born that way.
He has to pretend he lost the baby and "look" for another capri to protect his currentcapri and the baby from assassination attempts from greedy nobles 

The story is quite sad and has a romeo and juliet theme going on but I think it's interesting and like you said the sm** is really good 🤭
