@AE5 I agree with you but even so I'm pretty sure that some1 will be neglected-ish. What I mean is that even if maythan does end up with all of them or high chance he just wont like what was shown in the first chapter, the romantic moments will be priotized based on the ranking. For example, Maythan will have more intimate time with Kael since he's the first lead, and Cedric won't get much time with maythan since he's the 3rd male lead...etc..

I don't remember the golden rule but I remember it was somewhat mention (in an indirect way) that one is able to change the future, but the gods like to mock/torture/don't make the future what one wants cuz it's just too boring for them or some sh**. (You can find some of the indirect messages on the chapter when the queen dies and others 😊😊)

@All.yaoi.men.are.straight.for.me I'm pretty sure that's the exact reason, the reason to why his step mother's work was sold, because she was a valuable and rich person. Your work cannot be sold in an auction depending on your life value, your position in a government, or whatever power/wealth you hold. And the mother was pretty much a commoner back then, so there would be no possible reason other than this.

And there are toleratable red flags going around, but this is controlling and possessive, not the handsome possessive everyone simps for, the creepy possessive. Our female lead was literally so strong and tough in begining, but not is just weak, somehow now emotional Abt his mom or some sh**, and is literally sexually week. This is like "Even if you don't love me" but a knock off, I hope the story gets better cause if not I'm commiting arson
