It's just my theory.. I think the invertor of medical equipments and the AK-47 were made by someone in the future. Considering what happened to Elise, of her coming back to past maybe it's the same thing for the inventor.. Maybe they were reborn in the past like Elise with the knowledge of the future that's why they were able to have advance technologies

@Ayu they have an AK-47 in the emblem because they grabbed it from stock images and slapsticked it together with a horse and sword. in short they put an AK-47 in there because it was easy. just like they "used" an off screen radiograph that should have been invented yet in one of the previous operations, because its easy to waive it off for shallow plots sake.
if that wasn't enough of a clue, riddle me this.. why do they still use percussion rifles if they supposedly have automatic assault rifles on their emblems?
