Comment on ChapterBeyond Memories - Chapter 36
Okay I have a Sincere question... "are some of the readers tired of these put-upon 18 century woman behavior/attitude?".

Because as a psychology major, stories like this gives us a window into the authors view of how the so-call "weaker s**" should be treated.
And it's not with respect, dignity and bodly Autonomy.

@Asha221151 I'm not defending it or anything, I know what you're meaning just pointing out that this is omega-verse and they do this a lot within the genre.  They have strong omegas too in some stories but a LOT of this behavior/omegas are weak/beneath every one else just kinda normalized in this specific genre.

Understand that i agree with you when you say ." Its a specific genre, that has been wrong/right normalized"

But that's part of my point, the brutalization, the normalization the rationalization of the so-called weaker gender is Prevalent in a lot of these stories.

And we may not know the author personally, but any rational person/s reading someone's written work about the Constant victimization, be it verbally abusive, sexually abusive, or psychologically abusive, will get a window into that authors mindset.

And what that author maybe into. The bottom line is as they say.." "Sometimes A Cigar Is Just A Cigar"...
Meaning, "don't write about Physically abusing women and children in every possible deplorable, depraved, Sadistic way,  and then be offended when others in your work/family life, or your reader's view you as a sick twisted, sociopath."
Most of these authors are living out their own short comings/ fantasies when it comes to the Opposite or same-s** relationship's.
Another American southern saying..
"Don't Pi** On My Leg, And Try To Convince Me It's Raining"...or maybe you may know it by the more Modern saying.." Gaslighting"✌️❣️
@Asha221151 ....As a psychology major, you clearly should able to know the difference between "fantasy" and "desire" And you should also know that stories are NOT a window for the author's mindset. I repeat. NOT. WINDOW. OF. THE. AUTHOR. MINDSET. Not the way you think. Just like thriller writers NOT fantasize about murders, sci-fi writers NOT fantasize about living in a dystopia, etc. These are just stories!!

The real reason BL writers are so fuc*** up is quite the opposite - they want to FIX the characters, they want a story when the good, kind, pure-hearted weakling actually change the crazy psycho, that never happens in real life. They want an illusion that good can win, and everybody can be happy. That real evil doesn't even exist. (...and they usually do it with zero research wok anyway, that's why it's soo rare to find a well-written couple, they're usually just some very-very old archetype.) It's harmful in a million ways but it's not about the authors, but the young readers who has no experience, and learns from netflix & BLs about relationships.
...Then they think fixing narcitic psychos are a good way to find your foreweer love. (And/or the bottoms are always right, suffering is necessary to be happy, etc.) But it's avout them, not the authors!

The authors just write a story, but 99%of them don't have the talent to do it "on literary level", that's why there's a huge gap BL toxicity and wuthering Heits's toxicity, for example. I mean, just think about it, it's basically the same story! An obsessive psycho ML, a "weak bottom". (Ok it's a gir there but before feminism, so...), misunderstandings, tragedy, even kids are involved - but that novel do the right think and actually SHOW us it's toxic to the bones. And show us if you're like that, everybody will suffer, and NO HAPPY END for anyone. Because that's rerality, that's "love is blind" means, so be careful.
@Asha221151 (And again, it's NOT ABOUT Brone's mindset, it's clear she wasn't a psycho... But BL writers are just obsessed with happy end and they don't give a fu** about stroryline, characters, consistency, they're just... write, cause whatever. And we read, exactly because it's not Wuthering Heights, it's waaay more simple...:P)

The scary thing is when they don't even realize what they're writing, and they're really think stalking is cute, or controlling and worry are the same things. (The latter happens in "Salad days", it should be a fluffy thing (i guess), but the toxicity level is just... insane, and almost invisible, it's crazy how realictic it is. So, I really-really hope the author doesn't think it's a healthy relationship... But I don't think it's because they _want_ this kind of standards, nor it comes from BL, it's a waaay older problem that BL popularity, so...

So don't worry the authors mindset, it's only harmful for the youngs, cause nobody explain them BLs basically nothing to do with real relationships, and for a reason does not distinguish between healthy and toxic behavior, to get the happy ending -  so they should learn the difference on their own. And that's hard, since other medias or even society don't help with this either...
Anyway, It's terrifying even a psychology mayor could be confused by BLs like this... Please, please, read them as an adult!!! Like you read a real novel from the bookstore!!

I wasn't going to respond to your willfully ignorant B.S. because it's clear you didn't take the time to read and or Comprehend AnY of what I wrote.
Instead, you've responded like a true Morally bankrupt and intellectually Baron idiot.

You could have made your point without suggesting that I some how can't tell the difference between fact or fiction...but hey whatever floats your Ego.

"And I won't be responding to anymore of your Idiocy, as far as I'm concerned you lost your value when you decided to insult instead a reasoneding a manner worthy of discussion."✌️
