@Mo_oC that depends on the situation. In this case, did she try to even know who is the girl he's going out with? If you're a good and genuine friend you won't be cut off.

@Novox Ml I do agree that it depends. Have you ever been in an unrequited love ? The intake might be different for anyone. It hurts simply from looking at the other person's partner so some would rather not know anything about them until their feelings have been stabilized.
On another note, he's not the greatest and genuine friend either. <spoiler>The guy was already aware of her feelings but set no bounderies and no walls. Not even a hint that he was not attracted to her. He also knew the reason as to her actions towards his gf but said nothing to the latter. And proceeded to just abandone her 'friend'.</spoiler> That says much about him.
I'm not defending her actions towards the gf but just looking as to the reasoning behind it.
