You should get some distance from a friend like that

@Superuto there's something called communication. It should be applied first before distancing. Because, at the end of the day, you don't know or simply assume why the person is talking like that. Especially when you're used to the person's behaviour and fully knows she's not acting normally. 

Also, in later chapters, I can definitely see where she's coming from and the guy is fully at fault.

@Mo_oC Ya that's definitely n0t friendship. Its cuz she likes him that she's going that far. He needs to put up a wall with people like that or it could really spoil their relationship. Plus if she was right the other friends (from their college) would have felt the same way. She was clearly being mean out of jealousy.

@Mo_oC that depends on the situation. In this case, did she try to even know who is the girl he's going out with? If you're a good and genuine friend you won't be cut off.

@Novox Ml I do agree that it depends. Have you ever been in an unrequited love ? The intake might be different for anyone. It hurts simply from looking at the other person's partner so some would rather not know anything about them until their feelings have been stabilized.

On another note, he's not the greatest and genuine friend either.  <spoiler>The guy was already aware of her feelings but set no bounderies and no walls. Not even a hint that he was not attracted to her. He also knew the reason as to her actions towards his gf but said nothing to the latter. And proceeded to just abandone her 'friend'.</spoiler> That says much about him.

I'm not defending her actions towards the gf but just looking as to the reasoning behind it.
