I expect him to k*ll her with cold hearted man. He is a guy who has no mercy in the beginning. Is forgiving Head of Clan make him like this? But when he saw corpse soldiers (he ex teacher, commander) he felt nothing. Making an excuse plot hole for romantic plotis so lame.

@somedude i agree these plot armor and holes are annoying in every story. I think she should die and let it be a lesson to the MC to make better choices and to also know that he can't save everyone and some people will die but it's better to save a million than to save a few

Are you not aware of the hierarchical structure necessary to pass his limit, which is to experience emotion on a deeper level. Get a grip, if you guys read the light novel, you wouldn't be complaining. That mindset would isolate you from others - so I guess when it comes to your inner family, cut them down so you can learn a lesson.

exactly cut off the liability she made the choice to sign that contract. The actions been foolish. Let her pay the price. She got what she wanted now she can die happy.

@somedude  I think they are going to use her as a plot device in the future later, as she was said to have become a hero befor
@somedude man wtf are you even talking about, man doesn't even know what character growth is, his anger and intentions have been actively evolving after the events of the barbarian tribe, the first girl help him regain emotions that weren't rage, seeing the truth of Hugo made him reevaluate what he knows and stop looking at things like he understood everything, and the orphanage strengthened his resolve to save, not just be a vengeful husk, I don't understand how people can read this far and still have comments like this.
@Sayless  I think you've got it wrong. Imagine if your family members paid the price because they thought you were in dire straits, but yet they loved and cared for you nonetheless. Would you give your all and do everything in your power to rectify that and protect them? Don't deny that you would if you cared for them, appreciated all they did throughout your life, and gave them all you had. Your inner self will tell you that you would help them, because you forget that no one is perfect. As a result, she made a mistake, but at what was the cost and what motivated her decision? In the case of loss and love, the answer is simple.
