I think he becomes accustomed to her presence. She is no longer aggressive to him from what I got from it. I mean after their time apart and her raising the wolf she seems to be doing better. He is the one who kissed her first this time. I feel as if they were at a better place this time round idk if I would call it love or anything... but apparently the other readers said that she died and that they didn't even get to confess their feelings now that it was better. Idk if her death was definite and that she wasn't revived or what not. But I can't say anything for sure.
