@Rei FIRST OF ALL, I have been completely respectful toward you throughout this discussion. You, on the other hand, chose to call my argument "stupid" and then tried to brush it off without an apology. Resorting to insults rather than sticking to the topic says a lot more about your character than it does about mine. I don't post hate comments or insult people because I know it achieves absolutely nothing.
Regarding your historical examples: if a story actively downplayed, romanticized, or erased the horrors of real-world atrocities like the Holocaust or the occupation of Korea, I would absolutely criticize it. But that is exactly the point—we don't know what this story is going to do yet because there is only one chapter available. Judging an entire narrative arc, its themes, and its ultimate message off a single chapter is completely premature.
Do you know how much time, effort, and dedication it takes for an artist to create a single chapter? Forcing an author to abandon their work through intense, immediate backlash before they even have a chance to develop the plot isn't constructive criticism—it's just harassment. Cyberbullying and overwhelming online hate have caused real-world tragedies, driving numerous artists and creators to take their own lives.
There is a massive difference between having a critical opinion about a sensitive setting and actively dogpiling a creator until they pull their work. It is entirely possible to wait, read, and criticize a piece of media once it actually reveals what it's trying to say, rather than trying to crush it before it even has a chance to start.
