They both are wrong here and I feel bad for both of them. That's what happens when you trauma bond and share everything with a person(most of the time, though there's some exceptions). You need up hurting each other and do something so wrong you can never make that right.

The term “trauma bonding” has caused a lot of people to misunderstand what it actually means, but that’s not what it refers to. What people usually call “Stockholm syndrome” is actually closer to what trauma bonding means.
