@arf Yes she doesn't have to be completely detached and just a gap is good. but I don't think talking to her friend about the problem is a good choice, It will be awkward and the friendship might disappear and also, she can't just go to her and say 'look at me more' since that friend also has her own choice and feeling. Just saying srry and no offense.
