Comment by long a** comments on Jinx - Chapter 11

A lot of people have been complaining about the toxicity that this manhwa has. But personally, I like it how it is. Sure, the story is cliche, but cliche stories are all pretty much enjoyable if characters and stories are developed in a direction that's reasonable, like this one. By reasonable, I mean charaters who make realistic and normal decisions, and that would be how Dan is right now. Feeling uncomfortable and resistant towards ML (i forgot his name), and I am pretty sure he will continue to stay that way unless ML stop being a piece of sh** and redeems himself in satisfying way. If Dan for some reason falls for the ML who has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, i will be the very first one to bash this story. But for now, not every story need to have a healthy relationship, I personally think that angst stories with complex relationship is what makes it interesting. Of course, healthy relationship is the norm and should always be in real life, but in a story, having everything always happy and sunshine is boring af, but that's just me since I like angst. We have our preferences, if it's not your thing, then just don't read it. You're allowed to criticise and express your opinion towards a badly written story, and by a badly written stories, I meant "No Reason". A story where characters just does and thinks about the most unreasonable sh** to do (like excepting a guy who was the cause of you being gangraped). But with stories like Jinx where ra** is not romanticised and is actually written in a proper way, people should stop complaining about the toxic relationship and actually look at how it's potrayed and written for once. Rather than rating a story because of ra**, you're supposed to be rating on how well the story is written, not how healthy 
a character's relationship is in the story.
