in the last panel, when he said “why do i feel so empty” what did he mean by that? i do not get it. and I've beem stuck on this manga just bc of that one line. can y'all pls tell me your opinions about that line? like what you think he meant by that? is it bc he lost both of his friends thats why he feels empty or is it bc of possesiveness for his lover and he cannot see him with anyone else and just cant get enough thats why he feels empty? or is it just the other way around that he actually likes the other friend but mistakenly thought that he liked the one he is with now so thats why he feels empty. i have so many theories but i just don't know. can y'all share your theories with me please?

@bl over studying. I'm pretty sure he's is saying he feels so empty because back in time if he never said that gays were disgusting to the blonde guy and made him think that then everything would've worked out for both of his friends and they probably would be together but his selfishness/possesiveness made it so that it didnt work out for them, and now that he figured out the other guy had also had feelings for the one he liked so he felt guilty and empty because he ruined what could've been a heartwarming couple. plus the one he likes may not even truly love him and when he said "why not me" i'm pretty sure the other guy whom he said that, to felt guilty and probably just agreed to dating him because he wanted to get over the blonde guy. (I love this story but at the same time I hate it and I feel where the MC is coming from, wanting his crush to like him and only him and not be with others and getting jealous over the fact that they like someone else espically another one of your friends but I also kind of dislike him for doing that, making the blonde dude believe that gays are bad is messed up and the blonde dude probablly felt pressured to dislike them because his close friend didnt like them so he decided not to like them. and I just really hate that. but anyways yah they're all relatable tbh)
@r7k I'm also not surprised because the author always makes stories end on bad notes or the storys really f#cked up
@bl over studying. He feels empty rather than fulfilled because he knows that his lover doesn't actually love him, and that what's keeping the lover to MC is more of obligation and companionship rather than love. MC keeps saying, "I love you I love ya" but all his lover says in response is "I know." His lover feels obligated to stay because MC was always there for him.
MC knows that his lover will never love him when the latter hasn't come to love him even after so long and knows that he is just hindering his best friends' relationship. He will always be a hindrance and never be loved, hence why he feels empty. At least that's how I interpreted it. He really should just move on, I personally don't like being with someone who doesn't love me as much as I love them smh
