@haraan kazim Same. I'm so tired and irritated with redemption arcs. I've dropped a lot of stories because of it. These authors need to stop that sh*t. Such disgusting people don't deserve to be forgiven.

@R So just to be clear — you’re tired of redemption arcs in a story literally built around a second chance? You do realize the main character herself is alive right now because the timeline was reset, right? She’s reclaiming her life, not going on a killing spree. Not everyone deserves forgiveness, sure — but you’re acting like every single person, even kids, should be slaughtered with no regard for who they are now. That’s not justice, that’s just bloodlust with no thought behind it. Vansis is a child. He hasn’t done anything yet. But by your logic, we should just kill him off for what another version of him did in a timeline that technically doesn’t even exist anymore.
If you want every story to be pure revenge with no nuance, no growth, no exploration of morality, then yeah — maybe this isn’t the story for you. But don’t act like authors are doing something wrong for writing actual character development. That’s called plot.
