@Prinzinc I feel like you are lying about having six kids and how it's not much work...unless you are one of those parents that forces the older kids to act like parents to the younger kids.
Also homeschooling too? Yikes, that reminded me of that terrible reality TV family that tried to convince people they were great and holy for having a ton of kids-the Duggars? Is that your life? Are the older kids allowed to go out with friends or do they have to "help" the younger kids with their schooling and meals.
@TOTCF You can think whatever you want to think; it's the internet after all and I have no reason to be invested in if anonymous strangers believe me or not. It's funny how your perspective is so distorted to think that having 6 kids is somehow similar to having 19 kids or somehow that requiring your older kids to learn how to help take care of the younger kids is somehow a bad thing. Unlike this story, we don't require the father (me) to do everything in the entire household. Everyone pulls their own weight and contributes to helping the family out. That's why I can actually make two meals from scratch ingredients as opposed to plopping milk and cereal in front of the kids because I can trust the older kids to keep the youngest ones from hurting themselves or burning the entire house down the second I look away. And it's not like it's not work to take care of 6 kids, run a business, cook and clean but it's perfectly manageable with two people (and 1 in a pinch) and I know exactly how much work it is which is why I'm not convinced by the gaslighting when we are talking about a single child and a 3 person household.
