Fionah, yes, I completely agree that He Tian and Mo Guanshan needed more time to get to where they came to (although by the time standards of the story, a month or a couple of months at most passed there. It was years for us, and for them it is a very short period of time). But what upsets me is not that He Tian and Mo's relationship has developed (not at all, I'm happy for them, really). It upsets me how drastically the presence of Jian and Zheng Xi in the story has reduced. In recent years, they have been comedian relief amid the dramatic development of He Tian/Mo relationship. At the same time, we still don't know how Zheng Xi feels. He accepted Jian's feelings but didn't respond to them in any way. It's been 7 years (!) since Jian's kiss, and since then nothing significant has happened in their relationship. They froze in the place where Jian hid his feelings, and Zheng Xi did not reciprocate or refuse. It is not necessary to take their relationship to a new level, but some moments could be shown, for example, with Zheng Xi's reflection on his relationship with Jian. The last few chapters have been an excellent chance to show some serious moment that would reveal to readers Zheng Xi's true feelings. But they didn’t even show us his face, he practically didn’t react to the fact that Jian Yi was seriously injured. We were shown literally only one (!) frame with the image of anxiety on his face. And that's all. All his worries were set aside for the sake of developing the relationship between He Tian and Mo. I waited and hoped that after the battle with She Li, they would give us at least one chapter where we would see at least some manifestation of feelings from Zheng Xi, but all we were shown was how he woke up and just_left_the hospital.....
