Comment on Chapter19 Days - Chapter 410

okay I know no one cares about Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi but... please there can be at least a little more of them? .. why doesn't Old Xian show us their interaction AT ALL? Why, even in this and the last chapter, did they not say a word to each other? Why are He Tian and Mo Guanshan kissing, when they have a much shorter relationship, but at the same time, Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi's relationship has not moved anywhere for about 7 years?..

I'm happy for the fans of He Tian and Mo Guanshan, really, but why in past few years the story has completely ignored Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng Xi. It just hurts me to tears that everyone forgot this couple... But it was with these guys that this whole story began.

I know how you feel, but I also feel like this series is about the four of them. In the beginning, the focus was on Zheng Xi and Jian Yi.
however Mo and He Tian's relationship also required more development as well as the stuff with She Li.

i think that while right now it's focused on them two, the series is still the four of them, and that now that this She Li arc is over, you might see a more balanced telling of the story.

just my opinion tho

Youre not the only one! I love those two as well! I think because because Jian Yi and Zheng Xi are so stable and there is really no doubt between them, #lifers. that's why it's sort of comfortable for them to wait. They sort of had an arc close off before the MoTian stuff started getting serious, so it seems planned. Buuuut the next big thing plot wise is likely (sorry if this is a spoiler I am just predicting based on the One Day chapters- and this is how I would write it) it's probably going to be university and He Tian will have to leave. So if the MoTian ship is to sail it should sail quickly.
If I were writing this comic we would spend a lot of time with Jian Yi and Zheng Xi next, and get them officially dating/moving in together at university. While Mo and He Tian do zoom calls every night.

Basically I have this feeling like old xian has lost interest in their ship... She has been focusing too much on he and mo(which i personally like more._.) or maybe we get more about them in the near future? Or that she hasn't come up with a good storyline yet?

Juan, judging by the very first chapters, Jian Yi will also disappear, and it will happen quite soon. But apparently, nothing will develop between him and Zhen Xi until Jian Yi returns, when Zhen Xi will already be studying at the university. When Jian Yi returns, Zheng Xi will act much colder and more distant towards him than in the flashbacks (which we are currently reading). I'm afraid that from their current status of best friends/almost boyfriends, they will move towards just acquaintances, unfortunately. Maybe that's why Old Xian hasn't let their relationship develop for so many years. But it doesn't get any easier for me... It's just that I've been reading this manhua for 8 years, and the fact that the focus has almost completely shifted to HeMo in the last 5 years upsets me. Not because He and Mo are bad (they're not!), but because I really miss Jian Yi and Zhen Xi 🥺

i think zheng xi still act with jian yi as a friend not because he didn't like him but he is afraid that he will disappear again btw i think the relationship between he and mo gonna stop for a couple of year because old xian maybe has a story line for jian yi and zheng xi and that gonna be related with the story about his dad and the meeting with his grandfather. ( sorry about my english i'm not a native speaker)

The author has not ignored them. Most chapters in the last few years have a part A focusing on Jian Yi/XiXi and a part B focusing on He Tian/Momo... What happens is that Jian Yi's parts usually are most humorous (silly boys being boys) or nostalgic (lots of childhood memories)... That has always been a big part of Jian Yi's and Zhan Zeng Xi, because they are childhood friends. He Tian and Mo Guan Shan have more of a serious heavy aura because He Tian IS INTENSE and mysterious by nature. It is very possible the author is not "advansing" Jian Yi/Xi Xi's romantic relationship fast because if she does, the resolution would be too fast, there would be no conflict... Because they are best friends, they already have a bond of loyalty, trust, understanding, etc. He Tian/Momo's relationship needed way more developement because they didn't have that: they didn't trust anyone, they didn't know each other their entire lives like the other two.

Fionah, yes, I completely agree that He Tian and Mo Guanshan needed more time to get to where they came to (although by the time standards of the story, a month or a couple of months at most passed there. It was years for us, and for them it is a very short period of time). But what upsets me is not that He Tian and Mo's relationship has developed (not at all, I'm happy for them, really). It upsets me how drastically the presence of Jian and Zheng Xi in the story has reduced. In recent years, they have been comedian relief amid the dramatic development of He Tian/Mo relationship. At the same time, we still don't know how Zheng Xi feels. He accepted Jian's feelings but didn't respond to them in any way. It's been 7 years (!) since Jian's kiss, and since then nothing significant has happened in their relationship. They froze in the place where Jian hid his feelings, and Zheng Xi did not reciprocate or refuse. It is not necessary to take their relationship to a new level, but some moments could be shown, for example, with Zheng Xi's reflection on his relationship with Jian. The last few chapters have been an excellent chance to show some serious moment that would reveal to readers Zheng Xi's true feelings. But they didn’t even show us his face, he practically didn’t react to the fact that Jian Yi was seriously injured. We were shown literally only one (!) frame with the image of anxiety on his face. And that's all. All his worries were set aside for the sake of developing the relationship between He Tian and Mo. I waited and hoped that after the battle with She Li, they would give us at least one chapter where we would see at least some manifestation of feelings from Zheng Xi, but all we were shown was how he woke up and just_left_the hospital.....

Please, don't get me wrong, my problem is not HeMo at all! I don't want their presence to be reduced. But I wish that at times like this chapter, we could see at least a little bit of feeling on the part of Zheng Xi or Jian Yi. Zheng Xi just.....LEFT (??) without any words, we didnt even see his face..... and the focus shifted to Jian Yi's mom talking about meeting his dad. The moment is lost. I still have hope that what happened to Jian will give at least some impetus to Zheng Xi's rethinking of his feelings, but ... I'd rather not hope for anything.

Sorry for such a long comment! It's just this manhua is very dear to me, I've been reading it for 8 years, almost a third of my life :'''DD
