@Marioleen It is the most reasonable opinion. And I completely agree with this opinion. From the comments above, if he was abused since childhood, it's true. So why did he have to take revenge on people who didn't know anything? Since he was so angry and resentful towards her father, why didn't he have to behave in such a bad manner towards her? It's like resenting her father but directing the anger at her as well.
