His communication is really poor...If he was trying to impress everybody to be incharge, he failed miserably by acting like an a**hole ... It looked more like he was in cahoots with the bad guys

@Yomanyo that's his character, the guy he's playing is already rude and people have known him for it, he decided to just continue it. Plus he needs to be assertive in this situation to take command...
@Novel_addict what you said is True...but he can only reach the level of advisor or knight with princess in charge in this situation logically where there is at least 15 people there...would have been easier if it was a group of 6 or less..
@Yomanyo remember the beginning of the manhwa, around chapter 1 or chapter 2, even though he tries to speak formally and with education, the character is made to be mean so it twist the words he intends to say so they are mean
@UnlimitedKN you are right...That is why it is unrealistic for him to be leader...he gained nothing by doing it and could have just fought from the sidelines when required...next chapters will involve everybody questioning each move...can any group of 15 logically choose the most hated person( though most talented )as the leader...they will choose the next best guy
@Yomanyo the thing is, there is no longer a hero in this game world, the mc has to act as the 'hero' even if his character is a jerk, because there has to be a hero within the game... he's gonna try and 'save' them, or at least pretend to, to be perceived as a hero then take another persona and act like the villain behind the scenes. So yes he does gain something
@Novel_addict no, he just has to kill the bad guys/ monsters... respect will come from what you do not by being a jerk in charge..so there is no need for him to be in charge...he can disobey orders whenever he feels like it and protect the team when necessary
@Yomanyo but he's not strong enough to just defeat everything. Also him gains the trust of the main cast if he saves them.
@NZT your reason validates that there is no gain of him becoming a leader...his actions will be alone enough to get trust instead of giving orders ... nobody wants a public enemy to be their leader
