@lincoln Before you say anything I'm a pansexual man, so let's get to the point, yes people who fetishize bl exist and I won't deny that it's a big problem in the fandom, but putting them all together as one person is wrong.
Bl was made for females to enjoy romance/sm** without getting sexualised themselfs, which they often are in straight/gl romance (they used to be alot more sexualised before though), so yeah bl often gets wrongly written and far away from actal mlm relationships, but this is just for entertainment. (very much against the grape plots though) If you want you can look up the history and see for yourself.
It gets toxic then you can't see it as fiction anymore and thinks that is what mlm relationships are like, then you put on seriotypes or ship real humans and that type of stuff.
Also enjoying p0**/sm** in a qu*** form where your gender aren't part of it is nothing wrong with either, it can feel good sometimes to enjoy yourself without having to care about your own gender
As long as you don't add it into your mindest about the people in that catagory irl it's fine.
Also most bl fans are lesbians/trans or bisexuals, since yuri often gets very much more fetishised than yaoi.
