So confusing so mc's dad is the emperor and cult leader and wants to kill his sons Allies and the elders joined the heavenly something group to kill the palace masters so the elders would have more power meanwhile that ul tasik guy wants to be the cult leader and concour some land and be an emperor and the body the mc is in the original soul turned into some demon who lost his mind while being controlled by someone his whole life so if someone could explain wtf is going on clearly id appreciate it cause I've re read this 3 times I might turn into the crazed heir myself

@Zaxzei1 @Zaxzei1 The MC's dad which is The Cult Leader left the Demonic Cult/Ming Cult/Shining Light Cult as they call it here but on WEBTOONS. He left the cult and somehow took the place of the original Sultan ( during his encounter with Sosos Han, she said the Sultan isn't the one she's used to which it was revealed that's actually the Cult leader meaning that after the Cult Leader he somehow took the place of the original Sultan).
He wants to kill his son's allies because they are in the way of his plans which aren't revealed yet but it's safe to say that majority of what happened to Vice-Leader Cheonso Ma before he died and became Jagak Yang (our reincarnated MC) was due to the Cult Leader.
The Elders joined the Heavenly Palace because it's like a hidden force of the cult. It's basically the equivalent of the secret service, not much is known about them but they hold the true power in the Demonic Cult and the leader of the Cult is usually just a figure head with basically no real authority. They mentioned that no matter how many leaders come and go, at the end of the day the Heavenly Palace remains and it has happened 3 times already.
The Elders had no choice but to join the Heavenly Palace even though they have ambitions and goals of their own but they know they cannot oppose the Heavenly Palace

@Zaxze1 Uel Tasik wants to be Cult Leader and then by using the Cults might he wants to invade the main land and overthrow the current Emperor so that he can be Emperor and thus create the dynasty he mentioned a few chapters back and it was mentioned before that he's a descendant of that dynasty he wants to create/revive. That's his end goal, to become an Emperor and bring about a dynamisty which he resigns over all.

Cheosal Ma before he died someone was controlling him and making his life a living he**. It's not clear who it was but Cheosal Ma was aware of such but couldn't actively do something about it hence why he did all the things he did which led to him having a bad reputation but that was all an act cause as we can see it's clear that Cheosal Ma was laying the groundwork and leaving behind hints for himself or someone else entirely who was on his side.
I don't believe the original Cheosal Ma died, I believe that the Demonic Spirit of The Heavenly Demonic Qi Style is the physical manifestation of Cheosal Ma's soul. In chapter/episode 2 Cheosal Ma appeared in front of the mirror after Jagak Han had taken over Cheosal Ma's body as Jagak was washing his face in the new body and they had a conversation about how changing the cult will be difficult and so forth then after Cheosal Ma proceeded to change into into a Demon and that demon resembles the demon that appears when Jagak (MC) uses the Heavenly Demonic Arts Style

@Zazxze1 The MC even mentioned that whenever he uses The Heavenly Demonic Arts Style and the Heavenly Demonic Qi he goes in a blind rage and it's as if there's someone in his mind taking over. He even mentioned that at the back of his mind he feels and evil presence and that he's basically becoming one with it. Who might this presence be you ask??? It's Cheosal Ma the original owner of the body!!
