@I LOVE FEMBOYS say did you even read anything other than me calling you stupid? Just like the other person replying you, pointing out alien stage was far fetched of course that'll be the first thing anyone addresses. But I did reply back to most of what you said, talking about fiction media handling such topics, well yeah ik that I've seen those myself and I have nothing against those if it is handled well and with all the caution it deserves. This one tho? Nah. I never said you were uneducated, I'll clear that one out. The alien stage comparison one just dumb, not calling your argument of judging too quickly or media with sensetive topics dumb, just the alien stage comparison. I'll clear that one out too. But there are some things that should be crushed before they start sprouting. Say, you said that things shouldn't be judged too soon. You didn't answer the last part of my previous comment. Would you judge too soon if I made a bl manhwa on japanese soldiers occupying korea during ww2? Would you judge too soon if I made a bl manhwa on germen soldier and polish jew during ww2? You wouldn't? Then I'm judging you. "Romance" using real life genocides as just a setting to progress the relationship between the oppressor x oppressed pair will ALWAYS be insensitive. And this is actually great that the author backed out before this got any further popular caz many people defending this slop aren't here like you to criticize it when it gets ugly, they're here bcaz their favourite bl author started a new s*t manhwa and are mad they couldn't mindlessly jack off to. They're here for p*n, they don't care if there's anything problamatic about it, they'll still defend it

@Rei FIRST OF ALL, I have been completely respectful toward you throughout this discussion. You, on the other hand, chose to call my argument "stupid" and then tried to brush it off without an apology. Resorting to insults rather than sticking to the topic says a lot more about your character than it does about mine. I don't post hate comments or insult people because I know it achieves absolutely nothing. Regarding your historical examples: if a story actively downplayed, romanticized, or erased the horrors of real-world atrocities like the Holocaust or the occupation of Korea, I would absolutely criticize it. But that is exactly the point—we don't know what this story is going to do yet because there is only one chapter available. Judging an entire narrative arc, its themes, and its ultimate message off a single chapter is completely premature. Do you know how much time, effort, and dedication it takes for an artist to create a single chapter? Forcing an author to abandon their work through intense, immediate backlash before they even have a chance to develop the plot isn't constructive criticism—it's just harassment. Cyberbullying and overwhelming online hate have caused real-world tragedies, driving numerous artists and creators to take their own lives. There is a massive difference between having a critical opinion about a sensitive setting and actively dogpiling a creator until they pull their work. It is entirely possible to wait, read, and criticize a piece of media once it actually reveals what it's trying to say, rather than trying to crush it before it even has a chance to start.
@Rei "You're trying to sound intellectual but you just look so dumb istg the connection you just made lmao it's been a while since I had such a good laugh oh lord I've a seen a lot of fiction media handling this topic well and I'm not against it at all." Ig your ghost must have written this, right?
