I know the whole personality trait of our tracy is to be exceptionally astute, calculative and ingenious and a part of it also includes her not trusting anyone and psycholanalyzing everyone, always under the assumption that there is a hidden agenda (which there most probably is), but sometimes when we know that, there most definitely is, no secret beneath the surface and they probably care for her and that's why they're acting the way they are, I'm sure she's not going to pick up on it. I really don't like dense mc who are not trusting of literally ANYBODY. I love the calculative part, I love the using everyone and everything as an opportunity and a pa_wn part, but well, I want some fluff too I'm ngl :'(
Like when Carl came all the way back to tell her not to cancel the engagement, because he liked her or was intrigued by her in an alluring way. I don't think he did all he did was for personal gain, because he literally helped her to cancel the engagement in a way and he knew that. She did admit that she 100% did not want the engagement at the last possible moment, and also I don't like how Carl mentioned that her succeeding the viana house would be like her getting chained to the house. I don't really know if she just took Carl helping her as carl's kindness or idk but yeah he must've gotten in the feels after that last interaction. Also the way Oleg kept reading the script when all that tracy wrote was about him being taken hostage. He is a da** average 6 year old, he knew what he was saying and it did weigh heavy on his emotions and heart but he went through with it because he trusted tracy for once. Tracy definitely mistook oleg's trust and admiration for as the 6 year old's way of protecting himself and staying in favour of the more powerful party. ( I think she might not realise that not everyone is very calculative and backhanded, she just psychoanalyzes them based on worst possible scenario maybe?)
