Yeah I mentioned that earlier most GL stories really drag out every thing only for a confession in the last chapter.

@LesboJo this is so true but i think this one specifically is dragging it out way too much. Usually they confess at around 80 to 90 chapters. This one I feel like there's no progress being made, their relationship is in a weird stalemate.
@Studsol I disagree. I think the pace that they're repairing the relationship is good. They are going through the details of their problems that led to the break up. Some readers are impatient because they already know that this is Ji Youyan's 2nd life and that she died from heartache in her first life. To readers, that's all they need to be convinced that Ji Youyan is very serious about starting again and not reliving the same mistakes in her 1st life.
However, Jing Xiu is still unaware of all that. All she knows is that Ji Youyan hurt her a lot during their relationship and never tried to find her again to reconcile. Remember, when she was in the ICU, Ji Youyan didn't even contact her until days later. Jing Xiu has a lot of trauma from the old relationship. She needs more reassurance to move forward in the relationship again. She has never stopped loving Youyan but that doesn't automatically mean that they should be in a relationship.
It's a delicate relationship that needs a lot of time and effort to repair.

@Studsol Look, I agree and disagree at the same time. But, this story for me at least is well written. I think the pacing is good. I think this just needed one more deep push and enough assurance from yanyan.
@Ugh yeah, her biggest fear is jumping back into that relationship and getting hurt again the way she did before. Once you've experienced that kind of pain once, no matter how much happiness might be in between it, you never want to give the chance to experience it again.
