I disagree. Men cannot be the only ones with social duties and behavioral expectations. The very fact that anyone would even consider that women don't also need duties and expectations of their behavior in society just shows you exactly how far we've allowed the gender imbalance to get.
If you want to destroy society, this is a fantastic way to get there.
@Omniscient Reader I believe that, whether you're a man or a woman, you're free to do whatever you feel is right for you, as long as it's legal and doesn't violate someone else's rights. Of course, there will always be social norms. Some people will follow them, some will challenge them, some will criticize those who challenge them, and others will support them. That's simply how society works.
At the end of the day, there is no person, behavior, or activity that will ever be 100% accepted by everyone. So both men and women should be free to make their own choices and do what they believe is in their best interest, while accepting that others may disagree.
No matter what you do, noisy people will keep making noise, observant people will keep making observations, and silent people will keep their silence. That's just life. 😌
