@partyboy505 hmm but bro, he's doing this for her sake, and it's not like she can't go outside or she's locked in the house. I don't find it abusive or something bad. Just genuine question.
@partyboy505 I mean, from what I saw, he's just looking over her, or he just wanted to go with her shopping? He didn't really seem that possessive...?
@haraan kazim I genuinely agree with you both, but that's just the traditional japanese male viewpoint (and arguably not only japanese, but that's the case rn). The thing is Megu just escaped a circle of abuse, everything is still fresh for her. And to Akari, Yamamoto might just be another control freak keeping Megu secluded in his house , asuming she's actually a good girl.
