@haraan kazim I genuinely agree with you both, but that's just the traditional japanese male viewpoint (and arguably not only japanese, but that's the case rn). The thing is Megu just escaped a circle of abuse, everything is still fresh for her. And to Akari, Yamamoto might just be another control freak keeping Megu secluded in his house , asuming she's actually a good girl.
