@Seohu YJH doesn't leave the whole world for garam. All the decisions he made were valid and actually well thought off. YJH wanting to quit his job - he didn't take it seriously from the start, it was mainly for fun, and when garam expressed he doesn't like it, that just made him consider it more. YJH not wanting to talk to his family that much anymore - they were rude to him for a long time, they don't take him seriously, they constantly demean him... how is it unreasonable for him to cut most of contact with them? Him leaving the whole world for garam would actually be if he accepted the torment from his family, and continued to take their verbal harassment, just because garam said so and doesn't want them to break off the contact. So no, he didn't do it just because garam was involved, he was tired for a while now, he just finally had someone he could rely on and detach from his family. YJH is the one more mature in this relationship, which is funny, cause it used to be the other way around. One got a character development, one became unsufferable. One became selfless, one became selfish. Garam only sees himself, decides everything by himself, while YJH is there begging for them to talk like normal couple. They don't need a break, they need to break up. Garam has to finally realise his mistakes and for a change do the chasing himself, and YJH needs to stop being pushover and let himself being called childish by garam. I hope this doesn't sound mean, i only wanted to express my point of view, no hate to you reallyyy💜

@strawberrycream I get where you’re coming from, and I actually agree with some of your points, YJH’s decisions about his job and his family are valid, especially considering how he’s been treated. Cutting off toxic or unhealthy dynamics is completely reasonable, and I respect that.

But I think where we differ is how we see the relationship itself. For me, the concern isn’t about those individual decisions, but more about the direction they’re both heading as a couple. YJH making changes because of Garam’s influence and Garam wanting to maintain boundaries can both be true at the same time, without one of them being entirely right or wrong.

I also wouldn’t say one is fully “selfless” and the other “selfish” it feels more like both of them are struggling in different ways and reacting to their own insecurities. Instead of seeing it as one becoming mature and the other unsufferable, I see it as both of them needing growth, just in different directions.

And I think that’s what makes this arc interesting they’re not perfect, and neither of them has fully figured out how to balance love with individuality yet.

But I appreciate you sharing your perspective, and I respect your opinion even if we see the characters differently 💜
